Ox and Gini haven’t touched the ball.  Trent and Robbo should be playing easier passes.  Salah and Mane need to get wide more often.  The chances have come when Mane has stretched them and gave Robertson a pass.

Really poor effort that half. Trent looks massively out of sorts. Once again we're having too many touches in and around their box and when we have had chances, the finishing has been poor as well. Sadio, Mo and Bobby should all have hit the target with their efforts although Bobby's wouldnt have counted due to offside.

A really poor performance so far. Technique wise. Rushed passes. Poor control. Heavy touches. Mis-kicks galore. 

 

They don't look at it tonight. Much improvement needed in the second half. 

 

TAA was poor for the goal. But, it was a great finish and the technique in the pass from Ward-Prowse was top notch.

God this is awful. We are wearing lead boots and the worse thing is that Southampton are doing nothing themselves. Oxlade Chamberlain is a waste of space and Trent looks like he's not arsed. Not keen on Hendo at CH even though he's doing ok but its just not good enough and retaining a league title playing like our last three games looks a long way off.

Southamton playing their pressing game, and fair play to that. But they are seriously weakened, and once we play through their high pressing they look very soft at the back. Problem is we’re so shit we dont look like taking advantage.

We can't play out from back because we are dithering and passing it short and sideways and it is all too slow with nobody taking responsibility to carry it or inject urgency....and yeah they are then taking advantage of that and pressing us.

 

When it does get into midfield they are winning all the battles.

Not only do most of the players seem to be out of form at the moment but they are playing against the officials, VAR and Southampton. 

Mo being attacked and the ref gives a throw in to the opposition,corruption on full view here.
