Hmmmm. Bit surprised to see Curtis in midfield tonight and no Gini. Maybe an indication which was the wind is blowing with his contract stand off?

 

That's quite an attacking bench we have in reserve. Hope Jurgen uses it and is not forced to use it because we're chasing the game. Hendo, win the toss and make Newcastle run uphill in the 2nd half.

Regarding Gini, it could be that Jurgen wants to give him a good rest for Southampton. Don't think he's missed one game this season.

Yep. He also looked lacklustre vs West Brom and I certainly don't blame him for it. He has done unbelievably well this season to be available for almost every game, including games for the Dutch too.
