I think he’s been better than given credit for, but still some way off the expected level. And that the key is whether or not he’ll be able to stay fit. Like all players he needs to stay fit over time also to prove his true performance level.

 

But it’s been evident for a long time now that he’s one of those players not able ti stay fit and available for selection over time.

 

So if we’re able to get 30 million or more for him we should sell. Possibly even at a cheaper price.

Apart from Wjinaldum and Fab, none of our midfielders have a long run without getting injured and so miss matches as a consequence. We might as well sell all of them and get a new bunch in who will get injured so we can have another thread about it.
