I was 20 when I first heard Weather Report and I hadn't a fucking clue what I was listening to. I got anxiety from it and thought it all to be shite. Defo mature musically as you age.

It took me fucking years to get into them. I've had their first two albums since the late 90s, couldn't get my head around them at all. I listened to the third one about 3 years ago, everything clicked & now I love them.

 

A lot of the time I find the best music makes you work for it.
