The article said she's been bankrupted twice. Is there any details on those bankruptcies.

She's been bankrupted twice and only a councillor for 2 years.

She might be a lovely person but is there really nobody better to be the Labour Mayor of a major British city?

Fuck me that's scraping the barrel

I suppose when your first three perfectly decent candidates get hoofed out, no explanation given, you are left scrabbling around at very short notice.

What a fucking mess.  I hate Tories with a passion, but it's difficult to perceive how they could possibly do a worse job fronting up the city than the shower of morons that have been in charge for the last 40 odd years.

I'll pass your regards on to my parents.

The Lib Dems (locally) did ok? Never warmed to Warren Bradley though, thought he was weird.

Plus, they had David Henshaw in charge at the council. For better or worse he didn't take any shit.

It's a fucking sad state of affairs isn't it. But it needs to be remembered a lot of this is Labour's doing too. The original 3 candidates got pulled, nobody has a clue what's happening, others refusing to stand because the rug was pulled from under those candidates, so you're almost at last (wo)man standing.

To be honest, I think this just plays into Yip's hands. And I'm beginning to think that's a good thing.

What is it about Yip you think would make him a good mayor of Liverpool?

I think they expect Yip to win so they're just putting her up to lose quietly and hope Rotherham keeps the Metro Mayor

Do you think the people of Liverpool should vote Tory.

I think people should vote for whatever party they feel like, others should not judge them on their choices. If people want to vote tory what has it got to do with anyone else.

I dislike Mushrooms.

It wasn't really meant as a general question it was a question for Kurtz being about kicking out corruption that hides behind a red rosette but voting for a tory party thats riddled with it too.
