Well that was absolutely brilliant. Just phenomenal to have some fans back in the ground and boy did the lads deliver to mark the occasion.

 

Salah was just unplayable, another goal and assist, the guys never gonna stop a true modern great of the game. Kelleher was absolutely brilliant, solid and assured in everything he did, no heart attacks just did what was asked of him. Fabinho and Matip are glourious, 2 of the best CBS in the world, can’t underestimate the importance of that clearance on Coady from Fab. Wij with an absolutely banger, delighted for him he deserves that and nice to see him get captain’s armband. Jones and Robbo were tireless, Mane a menace and just causing havoc the Goals will come again. What a ball by Trent on his return also.

 

What a moment at end for Klopp and fans with the fist pumps, loved every second of it.

Jones is developing at a rapid pace. He always had skill, but I had doubts he could maintain the concentration to cut it at this level in midfield. Every game he looks a little better.

Also thought Curtis Jones was very good, turning into a complete midfielder now. And his ability on the ball and one on one is borderline world class. If he can keep going and work hard he will go on to be a great player.

 

Now rest all key players against Midtjylland, and get everyone as fit and

fresh as possible for a busy period ahead.
