This is all very disjointed but I don't think we can expect much different in the circumstances. We just have to grind out points whilst we're suffering from injuries and an insane schedule.

I think Jürgen missed a trick against Atalanta, should have rested a few more, so we could play a strong side here. Could very likely lose both games due to playing two weakened sides.

Yeah. Who checks the angles of the lines? 1 degree, 1 tenth of a second, one guy leaning... it’s all bollocks. Rechecking pens on a screen or something, great. This shit? Ruins it.

It shouldn't be done on a paused image, it should be on a moving back and forth clip like in the cricket.

Minamino has been the disappointment here. In that formation, he's gotta be a big creative force with Robertson being more defensive and Williams being the black hole that he is, but he's just not getting on the ball. Front players getting no service. Big effort from Wijnaldum and Milner after all the games they've played, but it's just too difficult. Alisson keeping the defense together with scotch tape. Tough.

Not a great first half.  I thought it was very sportsmanlike of Maupay to put the ball out for a goal-kick, in recognition of the fact that it was never a penalty.  Some worrying gaps in our back four seem to have closed a bit with Gini dropping deeper, but the front three are getting nothing from the midfield or Williams.

I still think we've got enough quality on the pitch - and some more on the bench - to win this.

That's a great shout. Split screen with the ball being passed alongside the recipient. Far too advanced for the bunch of fucktards who run football though.

If they are gonna use the sort of fine margins they are - then where is the allowance for the margin of error on the pass releases on their video?

The insane attempt at accuracy is all based on what is a lot of guesswork. It's a joke.
