No it isn't.

Also, Emmylou Harris transcends country.

She's as country as a MAGA hat Mal. She's in the Country Music Hall of Fame FFS. You don't get in there for your freeform jazz explorations.

Country is pretty niche. I'm not from Hicksville, just outside Nashville.

Do you own cowboy boots?

Can't post it, Bluegrass Clog Dancing. Good.

Emmylou Harris represents one of the few cases of sexual transmission of country music (not that the culprit was true country himself), she gradually phased country out since about the 80s (not that it would be anything wrong with it if she didn't) and turned to making sophisticated pop for discerning grown-ups.

That run of albums she had from Wrecking Ball to All The Road Running with Mark Knopfler was akin to Johnny Cashs American recordings - not as good of course - but a re-invention.

You need to look up the word "transcend".

You get into the Hall of Fame by being good at Country. Emmylou is that, but she's much, much more.

The album ELH did with Daniel Lanois (Wrecking Ball) is absolutely brilliant and i'm no country fan. Lanois just makes most things more listenable due to his production skills.

I know at least 172 words, and I fully understand what transcend means.

I just disagree with you.

A lot of people don't like country.

I didn't see it hurting Johnny Cash's vote.

I don't believe that Debbie Harry's short and shit solo career is worth 20 votes.

Johnny Cash transcends country though.
