Atalanta (H) Champions League - 25/11/20 - 20:00

A loss would be disappointing, but hardly critical. We’re missing half a team and changes had to be made. Atalanta were clearly stung by the last result and they’ve played like their future in the group depended on this result, which it does. We’ve been ponderous and off the pace but realistically the league games are the priority at this moment in time. Disappointing, but we take it on the chin and move on.

You know what, we were shit, they were good. They didn't shit-bag it like a lot of Italian sides and throw themselves to the floor etc. 3 of the back 4 out. Origi starting is baffling but just take it on the chin. I hope Atalanta beat Ajax to second.

We've been like an F1 car that has had the power turned down.

Get another game out of the way, pick up no more injuries, give some players some rest and the result wasn't the most important thing.

It's not great losing ever but if we have to lose one this isn't a bad one providing we win Saturday. Move on go again hopefully

Was a shit result and performance but with half our team our injured or recovering from such this was always bound to happen at some point. Yea I thought there were times if we had performed better than we could’ve got something from the game but it happens sometimes. As it stands a win in one of the next two sees us through. It’s hardly the end of the world that it might be made out to be.

Not arsed about the result in the slightest, nor the younger defenders not having the concentration to last 90 minutes without a mistake or two. But some of the first teamers phoning it in is disappointing. Not even the lack of effort, moreso the lack of diligence.

Jones needs a touch more pace if he's going to try and influence games from as deep as he spent most of this one. He should be much further up and we should be playing it into him around the area.

Fabinho at least tried to get the ball moving a bit quicker.

We've had quite a few lacklustre performances like this around lockdown. Watford probably being the worst of them (even more than Villa for me as Dean Smith did a number on us there).

At least no fans wasted their money on tickets.
