Was just about to post this. Some people hate him, but he's speaking 15 minutes of facts there. He's nailed every single point and totally understands the problems with VAR and the ref's in this country. Oh and fuck Gary Neville the little fucking weazel

Definitely Neville has a horse in the race. Hopefully more people come out and support the cause. Legal avenues are the way forward.

Because of time difference I didn’t watch live , planning to watch as soon as I got up. Needless to say I can’t bring myself to watch except the goal that wasn’t given , an absolute travesty and hints of darker deeds at work . I saw Jota’s first yellow which was a joke . Anybody care to enlighten me on the other yellows ?

You should watch it just to see how good we were and how hard we worked. The cheating can’t take that away from us.

Ok I will take a look but I just know the missus will be asking me to calm down and think of my heart while I’m screaming murder.

I don't know, I still think back to that game against Sao Paolo for the 2005 FIFA World Club Championship as the most corrupt/'worse' officiated game I've ever seen a Liverpool team in, I'm sure we had 3 goals chalked off in that game for no good reason.

That's a good shout. Although that was pre-VAR so they can possibly be given benefit of doubt.

The one other game which is up there as being one of the worst officiated Liverpool games in recent memory has to be the 2-2 draw at Goodison Park. Assault on Van Dijk by Pickford ignored while VAR focused solely on checking for offside. Then a late winner disallowed when there was no clear evidence of offside.

Two days later and all the 'don't be cruel to refs, they're just human beings' crap is being wheeled out as per usual (no doubt the 'Twitter death threat,' used by all great scoundrels, including of course poor little Kelvin MacKenzie, will soon get its ritualistic airing). It always aims to stop each controversy in its tracks.

You don't stop major and repeated acts of incompetence in any profession by piping up with the 'aw, leave them alone, they're only human' routine. Messing up big time is certainly not fun for the one who does it, but I'm afraid it normally does mean you're going to have to face the consequences.

Part of the reason why the PGMOL remains so insultingly incompetent is that the protective screens get put up every time any of their officials fecks up. So it may well be a nasty time for many of their members now, but they damned well deserve it.

I know.  I've just watched that and agreed with all he said & I did enjoy him taking Neville to task and questioning who the fuck does he think he is.

It comes to something when a Man U fan is supporting Liverpool in something.

When he steps away from the Utd act he puts on for his channel he seems alright. One of the few that appears to actually like and care about football not just using it to make money as a knobhead Internet personality with shite 'banter'

It’s alright, they’ll be filling their boots with sunshine, 5* meals & elite hookers on their next trip to the UAE.

At a guess, legal recourse, calling for a vote of no confidence in the refs body, demanding an independent inquiry.

Although I sincerely hope this does push a change with our inept officials, I just feel we’ll be made the bad guys and have to suffer more of this shite.

Surely a review of how the PGMOL is run and Webb fired has to be the minimum we look for. The quality of officiating has amazingly managed to get worse in the short time he's run PGMOL. He sanctioned those refs working in the middle east on Thursday and here on a Saturday. He is allowing the integrity of the whole enterprise to come into question by allowing his referees to work for owners of premier League clubs.

Instead of the likes of Carra and Neville doing their tiresome Laurel and Hardy routine every week, they should earn their wage for a change and do an intensive segment comparing multiple cases of the same basic incidents - such as Kane flying into Robbo and not getting anything for it, and Curtis getting a yellow and then a red. Or Virgil being sent off for that tackle, and one of the Spurs players getting nothing for the same kind of tackle. There are lots of very easy comparsions and contrasts to show - I guess poor Neviile can't bear to be nasty to his beloved refs. There's no justification for these self-proclaimed sophisticated video analysts never doing a serious demonstration of how hopelessly inconsistent these refs are. It would leave the PGMOL PR machine humiliated, and they obviously don't want that.

Yup. And there’s so much ammunition to throw in there. Skipp tackle on Diaz in April - worse than Curtis’s and not even a free kick given. Spurs fans will say Jota high boot on Skipp (who shouldn’t have been on the pitch). Tierney was ref, you’ll all remember. We’ll say Mings on Gakpo, also a yellow (Brooks was ref that day). We’ll point to Rodri not getting a deserved 2nd yellow at the Etihad in the 1-4. The ref that day? None other than Simon Hooper. (Interesting how the same names keep cropping up). We have so much more shit that we can throw at these chests than can be flung back at us. It wouldn’t be too difficult to demonstrate certain patterns especially over the last 6 months worth of matches.

Other fans bringing up all these examples of errors for liverpool it's not about liverpool it's about football and the integrity of the game, the sheer amount of inconsistencies when they have the ability to watch the footage immediately after an incident is outrageous.  The exact same incidents can result in completely different outcomes game to game.

Making the officiating so inconsistent that people aren't surprised by any decision is absolutely how corruption and match fixing could be allowed to breed easily, alongside the PGMOL being the only organisation in the country that is not allowed to be criticised at all. Toney got a 50 grand fine for illegally betting on games yet VVD gets double for saying "it's a fucking Joke" to a referee! that's maniacal egomania from the referee association. They need it made clear  they are not the bosses of football they are employed to apply the rules according to the laws of the game and fuck all else.

And maybe it’s my lack of knowledge, that’s kind of my point.

Who does Webb report to? Who does PMGOL report to? What is the escalation process? Is there anybody who can force a change?

IMO, unless the clubs vote no confidence in PMGOL, there is a zero chance Webb will resign.

Although I absolutely want the level of officiating improving, I don’t know how we do it. Collectively clubs should responding but other clubs likely just think what happened on Saturday was hilarious.

Maybe exploring our range of options will conclude there isn’t any.

Just when the game can’t get any weirder, internet twat Goldbridge stands up for Liverpool.

He's pretty honest generally, to be fair.

And quite funny.

His description of Maguire and Evans, as playing like ' two dogs trying to fuck on roller skates' was very good.
