Tis a weird auld feeling watching a schmozzle and/or a high catch and clearing the sliotar down the field without the obligatory crowd eruption to go with it. 

Limerick and Killkenny look to be the ones to beat in the hurling. 

I'm not that into the big ball so any of ye who are, feel free to chime in but I can't see past the Dubs yet again, although it would be typical of the year if Mayo ended the curse in front of an empty stadium

Limerick will either win the hurling and Kilkenny are possibly the only ones that will stop them. It's a bit odd because Tipperary are the All-Ireland champions and the only team that can match Limerick for quality, but it seems Limerick have their number completely.
