New xbox series x/s

Recommended Posts

Finally going to take the plunge on an S, even though I have consoles and games coming out of my ears and don't really need another one.

So I thought I'd set up an Xbox account - but oddly, I haven't been able to use either my main Gmail account, or my old Yahoo account. It just keeps saying I've already set up accounts with these emails. But I've never had an Xbox and have never used Microsoft for these emails. What the hell?

That Hotstock app has trolled me more in the last week than anyone has in my entire life.

Join Twitter groups mate (if you use it) hotstock was always crap for me when I was buying ps5's last year. People on twitter have first hand info on who is getting stock and when it's coming available online. (the date, and sometimes the time). It's not always 100% accurate but I found it much better than hotstock.

Then you just have to be signed into your account and be ready to buy.

Managed to upgrade the unopened S to an X via Curry's a few nights ago.  Ordered on the Friday, arrived yesterday.  The S will go back to Amazon after Christmas is dusted.

I dont think monopolies are good for anybody, right across entertainment the big boys buying up everything. I dont play any blizzard Activision games so I hope the game pass doesn't go up.

I guess it gets them some solid franchises and a foothold in mobile gaming, but looking at their portfolio there's nothing there I'm bothered about. There's a huge market who only really bother with CoD and Fifa though.

    • Two unsung heroes from last season could be heading in different directions in the January transfer window according to reports.   Nat Phillips remains a player of considerable interest to teams in the second half of the Premier League table.   The central defender has has only made three appearances for the Reds in this campaign as Virgil Van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez have returned to senior action after lengthy injuries.   Currently Phillips is out of action with a fractured cheekbone suffered during his last appearance for the club at the San Siro against AC Milan last month.     The Echo reports that the club have rejected two bids during this window, one is believed to be from Watford and more interest is expected to come in the next few days.   Fellow perennial strugglers in Burnley and Newcastle have also had interest in Phillips while a move by West Ham was also mooted due to their own injury issues at centre back.   So while Phillips maybe slowly heading to the exit door, there is set to be a familiar face return with the club cutting short the loan spell of Rhys Williams at Swansea.     The 20 year-old who signed a long-term deal in the summer was loaned out to the Welsh club in August as the club wanted him to continue his learning curve and get more first team experience under his belt.   But to this stage of the season, Williams has only made seven appearances (five in the league) with Swans manager Russell Martin outlining the difficult position.   “We’ve been really honest with Liverpool about the opportunities Rhys has had and the potential opportunities he has moving forward, so the ball is in their court.   “We can’t send him back…That’s the danger of doing loans. The parent club is always in control, to an extent. I think Rhys is in contact with them constantly about what’s happening.   Despite his lack of first team opportunities, Martin was full of praise of his professionalism and general attitude.   “I think the frustrating thing for Rhys is that he’s really happy here, he’s enjoying training, he feels he’s improved, but the one disappointing thing for him is that he’s had limited opportunities.”

    • Could not be doing with that for lunch on a working day. You should have shifted him to the evening and got a decent wine out of it as well
    • Spurs seem to be on a hell of a run since Conte came in.    Fantastic manager. And I can't believe United didn't go for him, the fucking clowns.
    • There's some red flags with that Carvalho lad.    Why would a 19 year old who is appearing regularly for a side challenging for promotion to the Premier League be looking to leave if it wasn't about money?   Throw in the Jorge Mendes factor and we'd be advised to stay well clear.
    • Likely, and I'd guess a few of the ones in the EPL2 was likely a reaction to some of the tackles he was getting.
