Unless he truly is an incompetent or biased against us, that ref surely will not fuck something up to the extent he did in the Everton game. Just based on probability. You can't come out as a club and criticize individual refs anyway. Against officiating in general, sure, but Klopp couldn't say "that Coote guy is a twat, don't have him involved in our games".

This is beyond incredible. He's either going to give us everything (well, you can hope, cant you?) or he's going to fuck up again. Personally, how any ref can be given a game without bein re trained is beyond me. He admitted to not knowing the rules about VAR and serious foul play when play had 'stopped' so how the fuck does riley know he's fully fucking competent now?

That’s the issue I have with him doing the VAR it’s not that he’s biased it’s that he can’t use the technology effectively under pressure. If there is a close call / offside that goes to him for checking it will be a lottery for both sides.
