Absolutely fucking mental that we're releasing players to trek around the globe to play football during a global pandemic. They then return to us and have the virus or have been around others that have and now need to self isolate for 14 days. Meanwhile we're paying out hundreds of thousands of pounds every week to them while they sit at home and we're forced to turn to the academy to field a team.

 

And all this while we're chasing a league title.

Can't be case they are out over the covid case or would not be allowed to play this week and travel rules don't apply to elite sports....the FA have even had special dispensation for Iceland to come here after being in Denmark...
