Couldn't be prouder of the team today. Everybody expected it to be a struggle for us but this performance would have demoralized everyone else. 7-8 first teamers out - make shift defence and midfield along with our top goal scorer missing and we made them look like a second string side. Thank you Jurgen for making me feel so proud and happy.

Best part of that was keeping a clean sheet!

2 midfielders in the back four, only Robbo a regular from last season, but still kept them to scraps.

The while team stepped up tonight and showed everyone that we’re still the team to beat - the fuckin Mentality Monsters.... rarrr!

Eating some fruit & nut chocolate in the second half, I had a square with three nuts embedded in it, and I was saving it for the final whistle, to mark our record of 64 games unbeaten at Anfield, but I scoffed it when Bobby finally scored.

No regrets!

Living the fuckin dream lad

Brilliant performance, best in the league this season almost on par with Atalanta.

Shame about the Keita injury, really the story of his time here. Midfield were superb, Gini just like a elder statesman in the team just turning out of trouble and getting us on the attack. Milner was absolutely excellent at both RB and in midfield, Jones pressed brilliantly and very silky on the ball.

Robbo was just his phenomenal self, given the schedule he’s had, it’s mad just to see his level of consistency. One of our best signings of all time. Fab and Matip were excellent, felt very safe and a very composed duo, really need them to stay fit.

Jota is just a gem and Firmino was excellent. Delighted for Bobby, was torturous watching his luck. Was an empathetic header, hopefully can build on it.  Mane his usual dynamo, continually winning something out of nothing. He was very unlucky not to score and will be desperate to bat in the next few.

A great evening, hopefully we’ll get Mo, Trent, Hendo and Thiago back into the fold in the next few weeks.

Given our injury list, that was a performance of Champions. Virtually the world and his wife was expecting us to get done by Leicester tonight but the boys showed their true colours in the face of adversity.

What an accomplished performance that was. Some people will moan about the OG but so fucking what? It was our attacking corner and putting Evans under pressure that he didnt know which way was which.

We put Leicester under constant pressure and Naby in particular having a great game. And once again, up popped Diogo to notch again and settle most people's nerves. That former teammate of his who said Jota wont 'stay long' at Liverpool can get to fuck.

10mm? Funny how they took an age to 'decide' Bobby's effort hadnt crossed the line. They normally get this stuff up within a few minutes. Of course the ref's goal line technology watch had a new battery in it, didnt it?

But finally Bobby got his goal with a beaut of a header. It was great to see his smile and his teammates share in his joy.

While shite teams like everton and united are playing relegation fodder, we're playing and beating the teams if not tipped to win the title, then teams who are going to make it very hard for us to retain it.

It was great to see Matip and Fabinho come through the game. We've players out injured or isolating but while we are winning, they're also getting a rest from the hectic schedule. That can only bode well for us.

A new club record for unbeaten home run. Ray, that one was for you. England's number 1, England's number 1. He's England's number 1!

Such a shame the fans weren’t in the stadium for the Ray tribute.
