Interesting to see Nat Phillips get his chance. Big game for Curtis Jones too. Has to make sure he doesnt disappear from the game. Jota and Shaq from the bench. That tackle on Thiago seems to have caused more damage than we're admitting. Origi pay the price for a poor display midweek or has he picked up an injury after being clattered a few times in that game?

I like the team, Phillips is mature enough and decent and Jonesy is ready.

 

Pleased were going with 3 in midfield rather than the 2 we've employed there for our last couple of games. In those games u felt it was apparent that we were missing that extra man and we resultantly struggled to win and keep the ball.

 

Attack is the best form of defence, let's have their kecks down and take them to the cleaners.

Not sure what we can expect today, our performances have been very inconsistent, even if the results with one exception have been ok.

 

If we can get our shape and pressing right and not concede more than one I reckon we should normally be ok. Also be interesting to see if Phillips can make us more solid in the air.

 

Trent has looked better over the last few games, be good timing for him to have a couple of assists today.
