Howlin' Wolf was phenomenal but James Brown should win the whole tournament in my opinion.

Voted Howlin' Wolf as my favourite bluesman, his 'Sitting on top of the world' is one my favourite songs of all time.

Could easily find myself voting for Brown over most the other guys in the tournament.

Almost an impossible choice because both were massively influential geniuses. By a slight margin I prefer listening to the Wolf so that's the way I'm voting.

I've got more of James Brown's stuff than Howlin Wolf's stuff so that's the basis of my decision. Both were clearly bloody good.

Nothing?

Have a listen to the Star Time box set & his live albums from the late 60s/early 70s. Nobody can touch that stuff, nobody.

Come on mate. He is clearly superb. I wont ever disagree but he doesn't win this tournament.

Mr Dynamite on netflixs is worth a watch for the genius of James Brown

Has anyone watch the film Chadwick Boseman did of him, trailer looks pretty good?

I don't think he will either, if it was up to me he would though.
