4m+ is Bidens majority, 1.6% of the voting age population. This puts Biden 0.8% above the percentage who voted for him and Trump 0.8% below. How small do you want a smidge to be?

The little Bush was elected being down 500k in the GE and won Florida (and the election) by 500 votes - sounds smidgey

Based on what?? You could count the folks in their boardroom and acknowledge they flipped a few.

Or you could look at the map that shows states flipped from the last election. Which won this election.

I am quite sure they are looking for a bigger platform and am pretty sure they will continue taking the piss out of Trump/far right

Based on the fact that more Republican voters supported Trump this time round than they did in the last election. As far as I know there's no polling so far on voting behaviour for individual states.

And I'm not sure if you're aware who the Lincoln Project are, but some of them are pretty far to the right. It's highly unlikely that they'll use their media platform to attack the GOP at all over the next few years.

Smaller than 4 and a half million (it will end up more than 5 million).

I got bad news mate - more voters voted for Biden period, and I have a pretty good idea who they are.

Well, Biden got more votes than anybody who ever ran in an election in the United States. He flipped several States, including one that is pretty much always Republican. Might have helped a certain section.

Now, who alleged it?

Might have done, but we don't know, do we? We do know that more Republican voters supported Trump this time round though.

The sound you hear now is Duff working this through in his head.

Now would be be a great time to point out how many more Latinos voted for Trump this time around.

Jesus Christ. His support at the last election among Republican voters was 90%, and this time it was 93%, so it doesn't look like too many have been flipped, does it.

We do, just as we know more voted for Biden than Obama, and unlike Clinton we know he beat Trump. Considering we don’t know, it’s wouldn’t be right to put them down, in my view.

Out of interest, you seem to be dodging my question about who alleged it, is there a reason?

Trump supporters walk amongst us

?? If that's aimed at me mate you might wanna re-read my posts. I'm no Trump supporter, I'm merely pointing out that donating shitloads of money to a bunch of old GOP strategists might not have been the best idea.

Mate - there is  a slight chance that a bunch of people registered to vote and turned out in high numbers.

We don't. Polling of individual states might show that it has, but the only polling so far shows Trump increased his level of support among Republican voters.

And no I didn't see it.

I would disagree, you noticed them and so did I

They are a media business, there is no hope involved

So his support among Republican voters increased, then, suggesting the efforts of the Lincoln Project to flip voters were largely unsuccessful, which was my original point.

I think the Democratic support for Biden increased as well - but I am not sure - can you check that??

Their USP was flipping Republican voters. On the evidence so far their efforts don't seem to have been very effective. If they now go ahead and become a media outlet, it won't be progressive/centrist ideas that they're promoting. This isn't difficult stuff.

It wasn't.
