Harvest Moon is a go to for me, those harmonics and the main lick, just beautiful.

Someone got me a copy of the album when it first came out. It took me a while to even hear Harvest Moon, because Unknown Legend was one of those rare tracks that you want to listen to about 4 or 5 times when you first hear it.

That’s a great track, he just has tons of them.

Those tracks I picked were for playing on the guitar but same applies really. I’ve seen him at least 10 times now, I love it when he just goes off on one for like 20 mins, Love and Only Love, Hey Hey My My, Like A Hurricane...

So special when he strips it back too, just him and his acoustic or the piano. Old Man, Needle, Goosebumps everywhere.

I’ll not challenge anyone voting for Bowie, but Neil Young for me is genius and can do it all. Shame they come up against each other right off the bat, neither deserve to go out this early.

I only like Bowies early stuff and I suppose that has a lot to do with nostalgia really but as my music tastes changed and developed, Young was a big part of that, though I agree that Bowie tapped into different genres as such I never gave him much attention, so it's Mr Young for me. Tough choice and more to come no doubt.
