Arlo Guthrie told a story at a concert I saw about performing a tribute to Woody song (This land is your land) at a Springsteen concert. He thought he had monitors all over the stage until he got close and saw they were prompts with all the lyrics, even for his own songs. I don't know how true it is but I don't see why Arlo would make it up.

I've heard his live shows are brilliant but I'm not really a fan of either. I'll go away and think about

I don't how George Michael comes into it, OK I suppose he could sing and prance a bit but for fucksake who next? Suggs maybe James Blunt or Jimmy Somerville. 

Not a big fan of Springsteen but at least he's talented and done some decent tracks, surely no contest there. 

Imagine going back to someone's gaff for a bevvy and what not and he put Michael on. Scary.
