Without any doubt Ray Clemence was the greatest goalkeeper our club ever had. I would class him with Gordon Bamks and there was no one any better - not even in recent times. Clem' wasn't just heroic on the field he was courageous throughout his illness. A footballing man to whom the word 'legend' can be honestly applied.

 

Grateful and privileged to have seen him play.
