Based on the above, we have room for 1 more over 21 player to be registered, either HG or N-HG.

 

That could be Virgil, or any new signing that we make.

 

If we're going to be bringing in a couple today, then to have Virgil added to the squad, we'll have to remove someone to accommodate.

 

Seeing as Davies will qualify as HG, the easiest solution would be for us to unregister Joe Hardy, as the lad isn't going to get a look in at first team level here, which will leave us a spot for Virgil, assuming that we sign Kabak who would not need to be registered as he's under 21. (DoB - 25/03/2000).

Yes. Davies is fine, but it will mean we cannot register Virgil, unless someone else is removed.

Sky were just asking Merson for his opinion on Kabak and it was clear that Merson had never seen him play. 

 

He said he was worried about him being described as physical as you can't go through the back of an attacker anymore with just a warning of "one more" from the ref and you'll get booked for it. That's not physical that you've described, Paul. That's rash or dirty.

Yep - I did mention this in a reply. If he'd not just come back from injury, I suspect he might have been shipped out on loan.
