Not vastly. There are players in the MLS that would also tear up the Championship. But the Championship is more competitive and difficult.

It's not even that good really. I would rather sign a defender that had spent his entire career in the Championship than the MLS. 

 

I remember watching the MLS a few times when Gerrard played for LA Galaxy and it was like watching those pre season tournaments. Slow paced, low intensity.

If Long is as hopeless as people suggest then he can't be any better than Phillips and Williams in which case Klopp won't go near him. I believe if we get him then he will be an asset given our current dilemma.

He has to go back to NY Redbulls at the beginning of April, will need to isolate on arrival. Hasn't played a game since September last year. We would pretty much be giving him a preseason for NY.
