Jose Feliciano. I'm guessing he wasn't in it. I mean you could go on but a line has to be drawn at 64 and it's a democratic vote.

I'm still kicking myself for not putting Richard Hawley in my top ten!

Me too, just scrolled back at few and realised I never put in Tom Waits as well, they always come to mind after, Jackson Browne wrote plenty of songs for others as well as an artist in his own right.

Others will spring to mind no doubt from different genres.

He got a few votes in the first round then mysteriously didn't get included in the second round.

Probably the only thing Stiggseh can do to save face is arrange a playoff to get in between him and Phil Collins.

Tom Waits is in it you cum jockey

Mali is phenomenal for music.

Have you heard Amadou and Mariam?

No, I've only listened to his album with Ry Cooder so far so will be checking more out, including Amadou & Mariam. Thanks.

Haven't listened to them for the best part of a decade, and can't remember song names etc.

Think "Dimanche à Bamako" is the album I had.

@Mook Another you might like - Boubacar Traore.

Cheers, I'll check these out tomorrow. I had a wee listen to a late 90s (I think) album & liked the sound of it.
