Suggests something much more deep rooted than just a 'bad day at the office' even with the clown in goal unsettling us.

 

Our defending is lazy, individually and collectively and error strewn and it has been the case for a while now.

 

Not so sure this is just a shrug it off as a bad day jobs - letting in this many and getting beat this badly to a shite outfit like these is more than that

You cant put this performance down to Adrian's early gift, that just let's too many players off the hook. The only ones who've tried tonight are Mo, Gini, Jota. the rest have played like billybig bollocks schoolboys.

Villa got 4 or 5 deflected goals but it's a wake up call to some players out there who thought tonight was going to be a stroll. Taking off Gomes hasnt improved the defence one bit.
