That Jota goal was the 400th goal of Klopp's tenure. He was very lively when he came on, and it's wonderful seeing him score on his league debut and not have an agonising wait to get going.

That goal could be the "change needed" to retain us the title.

Wow. The power of that performance. We should have scored at least five, we just pushed them back for the full 90 minutes.

Still they managed to create a few big chances, and that was our only weakness tonight, it was a bit too easy to play it in behind us.

Great performances from Van Dijk, Alisson, Trent, Robertson and Fabinho. But I think Wijnaldum is up there with Mane for man of the match. I think Gini ran, tackled, passed and pressed more than the Arsenal team combined. Put the four year deal on the table and sign him up.

Over-under on Salah & Mane being in the 100 Greatest Players of All Time list by the time their careers are finished. Two absolute phenoms at the game of football. Tierney will be having flashbacks for a long time to come.

I was just thinking today that there are always players who are best described as "a manager's dream", not just for their talent, but for their attitude, their workrate, their commitment to the team, their reliability, etc.

Most very good teams have one or two.  We've got fucking loads.

Keane clearly said we were sloppy tonight. Only one moment from Robbo could be described that way.

There was a few close moments when they could have got in. Not sure it was sloppy as much as us going all out to get the third goal though. We have the two best attacking full backs in the world so we might get caught the odd time and it's a risk worth taking given their output.

It’s what Klopp does isn’t it? Looks for the type of man they are as well as a player.
