Minamino motm for me. Jones a very close second.

I agree. Minamino looks a lot more settled and assertive now. Tsimikas had a half decent game too.

Grujic looks like he'd be decent in a slower league. He seems a bit too cumbersome to be able to make it at Premier League level.

Origi was probably the worst of the bunch. But, we're through and it was a good run out for some squad players, so who cares!

Some lovely goals there especially Shaq’s free kick. I hope Jones gets rewarded for this performance. On this evidence he deserves more of a chance than Keita. I’m surprised no one mentioned that every single one of our players was wearing a long sleeve jumper under their shirts. Bunch of fannies. Not even in October yet.

Scoring 7 against anyone at this level isnt to be sniffed at. We were very good in the first half. Even in the second half we looked good going forward. Virgil's subbing at half time had a massive impact especially when you conside Adrian in goal, Tsimikas and Jones R making their debuts and Neco at right back.

Adrian always makes the easy things look hard. he's number 2 number 1 for a reason. Anyone who thinks there's a great back up keeper out there is kidding themselves in my opinion.

Williams N looks what he is to me, a winger converted to fullback. Good going forward but lacking defending. van Dijk, was like a training session to him. Coaxed Jones R through the first half. To be honest, Id have preferred Nat Philips in there because 2nd half, Jones R was not much more than a lumbering lamp post. And not a quick one at that. Still, the lad can say he's played for Liverpool. Tsimikas, solid debut and will be a good back up for Robbo but he isnt going to be anything like as productive as him.

Those 2 goals will do Taki good along with his Community Shield one. Curtis Jones looked very good 1st half and took his goals well. Seemed to fade a lot in the 2nd half that I thought he was subbed! Grujic, got a goal but didnt do anything against a team at this level.

Shaq scored with a wonderful free kick. Not sure it's enough to rescue his Liverpool career. Took a knock late on and subbed not long after. Divock, idea game for him to make a statement but despite his goal at the end, just didnt happen for him. These are the games he needs to be at the fore front of the attack. Elliot, industrious and easy to forget he's still only 17.

Fair play to Lincoln. They tried to play football and weren't a team of cloggers.

Result means we play arsenal twice very quickly. I hate it when that happens and the league game will always take priority to me. Be interesting to see the teams both managers put out for those games.

Origi should have been in thermals with all that standing around

For a team that’s sometimes looked a bit short in the arl shooting from outside the box stakes, we’ve certainly leathered some in tonight.

It doesn't work unless it's a double post.
