I'm not sure we could know that. I'm not sure Jota has put a shot on target in months. Can barely remember.

Hopefully it's just a fitness/confidence thing. If he starts next season in the same vein it'll be a bit of a concern, though.

Jota has had a disappointing few months in terms of his overall play, but how can anyone argue he’s been any less than an unqualified success for us? In the last five months alone he’s scored three high-pressure penalties in cup shootouts (Leicester, Chelsea and Chelsea) and put us into our first of three finals. He’s been absolutely crucial to our success this season.

He is a guy you want a chance to fall to - but he has done nowhere near what Diaz has done. And what Diaz has done is a fraction of what he will deliver next season.

He's good on the left, doesn't suit him on the right. He's been out of form for a few months now. Hopefully him, mo and bobble will return next season.

It's a concern how the 'form' thing has been an issue for all forwards bar Diaz and Mane this year. The others have scored goals, but their overall play has diminished alarmingly compared with previous.

He’s a left sided forward and he’s barely played there since Diaz arrived.

Mane was has also had form issues. It happens when they play this amount of games.
