Him coming in as the 4th choice attacker will do his development the world of good, he's not under a great deal of pressure to perform and Klopp will groom him into a top player. I think he'll have games where he's frustrating especially in his first season but also games where he looks amazing, until the finally finds the perfection calibration and rips the league a new arsehole.

The only thing I was surprised about was that Shreeves didn’t ask him about Salah taking that chance off him.  He’s usually rubbing his hands at winding players up over shit like that.

 

Jota didn’t seem to take too kindly to Salah doing it either.  Gini looked to be making a joke out of it (probably saying welcome to Liverpool or let me introduce you to Mo), he might have smiled at that point but when they cut to another camera a second later to show his face he was deadpan.

When are people/person going to realise we don’t play with a 9. Salah and Mane are our players expected to get the goals. Jota is going to do well here, out wide and up top if needed.
