I agree with you in principle Scott, but Van Halen are just so unbelievably atrocious that I had to vote for The Monkees.

I voted for The Monkees. Van Halen didn’t even have proper mullets (short at the front and sides but long at the back).

Not too sure about these other van Halen examples but 'Jump' is enough to beat the Monkees for my liking
