Tough one that, even though some songs remind you of times gone by as with The Eagles but Neil Young gets my vote, just for OnThe Beach and After The Goldrush, two boss albums at that time, in fact I might listen to Walk On rightnow.

Why are people fining it hard to vote for them as a band not someones solo stuff?

This page gives you an idea of the 'Neil Young & Crazy Horse' discography...

He's Canadian & more of a solo artist in my book but Zuma pisses all over anything The Eagles ever done on its own so although I don't think they should be in it, they get my vote no problem at all.

Eagles obvs. Neil Young is one whining motherfucker.

Jesus. I'm surprised at this coming from you.

Neil Young and Crazy Horse make music to keep you awake, at least; it's far more than The Eagles ever did.

Suffice to say that when John Peel discovered punk in the late Seventies he cited Neil Young and Captain Beefheart as the only older acts he still wanted to listen to because they "make mistakes". The Eagles don't make mistakes: they are the acme of polished corporate blandness.
