Why are new outlets reporting it as if the red changed the game?

They had 1 off target attempt all first half and there were only like 2 dangerous passes until then?

Only the BBC/MOTD could make chelsea look the better team up to the sending off.

Yeah, I thought that watching it as well. It was pretty much total dominance from us from the first minute.

Interesting stat on the beeb

  • Despite him only coming on as a second-half substitute, no Chelsea player completed more passes (75) or had more touches (89) than Liverpool debutant Thiago. His 75 successful passes was the most by a player to play 45 or fewer minutes in a Premier League game since 2003-04 (when full passing data is available).*

The lad’s a workaholic. Another Klopp master stroke.

Solid game by the team, but HENDO looks like being a liability this season. He’s the only Kenny signing we have left, but his demise as a peak player could be approaching.

You base this on one average game after a lengthy injury despite him being one of our better performers when half fit v Leeds? I would have thought that Henderson would have earned some leeway by now.

Agreed I watched the whole of the first half and off kieta,Gini and Henderson hendo was the best defensive and offensive midfielder by quite a margin. I would say the major liability we have is Naby he had a shocker as in he did the sum total of nothing .

Milner starts behind Kante and finishes ahead of him. If Kante had put more effort in he might have scored.

He was player of the season last year and his pass sprang the penalty

Great boost for Alison saving the pen and keeping a clean sheet. Not quite been on top of his game since lockdown. Good for Thiago too not to have anything spoil his debut

Part of me thinks that's to do with what happened at Anfiled with Lampard and our bench.

Anyone think we’d have got the pen Werner got yesterday?

Salah got brought down in the 1st half and carra couldn’t wait to say it looks like he’s gone down too easy there yet we never got the chance to see it again.

Also notice that neither Salah or anyone else claimed for anything, so in no way was Salah "being clever".
