Star Wars, and it's myriad prequels and sequels, is fucking dog shit for milky lickers, children and suckers.

 

Superhero films are destroying good quality cinema and they're binge cibsumed by spotty virgins

 

Bladerunner is poor; great looking but cold and barron like a gorgeous bint who's shite in bed.

 

Ridley Scott is a fucking chancer who got lucky with Alien and Bladerunner. Hasn't made a decent film since.

 

Anthony Hopkins should be hanged the next time he sets foot back in the UK.

I prefer the cinema release of Blade Runner (with the voice over) - great film. Gladiator is crap and despite three attempts I have never managed to get to the end of it. Blade Runner 2049 is excellent.

 

Alien Resurrection has some great bits but is spoilt by a few crap science moments (I can happily suspend disbelief for most films - humans as batteries, sure, why not - but the alien ejection scene was laughable).

 

Sherlock is pretentious and Dr Who has lost the plot.

 

1917 and Inception are both crap. The parts of Goodfellas that focus on the wife are tedious.

 

Old Star Trek beats new Star Trek.

I've always found Inception to be overrated too. Memento, which is actually on BBC2 right now, is my favourite Nolan film quite easily. The first two Batman ones are great as and The Prestige and Insomnia are good as well. Never saw the two latest ones.

Inception's great fun. The 'kick' concept is brilliant as a way of easing people into the central conceit, as everyone's experienced that wake-up jolt. The heist is well done and the acting is superb. Unfortunately, it's been given a status far beyond what it should have by internet obsessives pouring over every detail and ascribing genius where it isn't warranted- that's where the overrating comes from.
