Tie of the round I reckon. I was gutted when this came out because I love Blondie but know how much love there is for The Beach Boys on here. Pet Sounds without a doubt is a great album but they did a lot of shit that is almost unlistenable. They also don't have Debbie Harry.

Blondie for the win.

What Beach Boys stuff is almost unlistenable?

Pretty much all of Surfin' Safari and Keeping' the Summer Alive

Better sticking to their albums between 1966 & 1973, they were pretty much finished by the time punk happened. I've never even listened to Keepin' The Summer Alive & I love The Beach Boys.

Fair enough, I think their albums before Today were patchy & I love Holland & the live LP from '73...

Today is '65 anyway, is it not? And while patchy, the earlier albums contain some masterpieces.

Holland I can take or leave, to be honest. Love You, likewise. The rest post-'73 is terrible...

You're right, it is '65. Agreed on the early albums, some gems in there.
