I’m voting for the band that may not have written the songs but still got covers from Sex Pistols and Vic & Bob, had a lead singer on Coronation St and made a TV programme that I liked as a kid

 

and frankly I’d rather listen to their greatest hits than a great deal of the absolute shite that is in this tournament

Monkees version is better than Sex Pistols. But even that was by another band, not even written for the Monkees.

 

I heard it's not even his real hat.

 

Got to be Alice. Stars of MTV over the creator of it.
