Never fancied listening to Motley Crue and have never heard of The National, so I will have to sit this one out.

I listened to the first 20 seconds of the National track in the OP.  It's far better than the entire oeuvre of the poodle rapists, so that seals my vote.

I’m basing this purely on birds shagged by the respective bands. Musically Motley Crue are not my thing and the only National I have any interest in takes place at Aintree.

Seen the national live once. Technically proficient, but at the end of the day they're patently IT executives playing at soul-numbing indie. I'd genuinely rather watch paint dry while listening to one of their albums.

 

Motley Crue's back catalogue is 99% dogshit, but they put their heart and soul into it. They did write 'The Dirt' which I'd urge everyone to read. 'Dr Feelgood' got me through my GCSE's so they get the coveted cochyn vote.

Wouldn't usually vote for Motley Crew but at least I know some of their songs  The National look and sound like they all work part time at an accounting firm.

If I remember correctly NME put the boxer & high violet (national albums) in the top ten albums of the last 30 years. Yeah I know NME but still has some sway.

Mötley are one of my favourite bands. Never heard of the National so it’s an easy win for The Crue.
