Seriously, though, who did they influence? Are there loads of other bands ripping off Slade and posing as well 'ard?

Well, the thing is most of the big successful bands that have formed after Oasis are normally deemed to be shite on here. And people are going to moan about how crap Colplay and The Killers are but they’re still massive bands who sell out huge gigs and have both headlined Glastonbury and, you know, you did ask. Anyway, off the top of my head..

I’m assuming this Lars Ulrich interview might blow some minds as well.

Obviously I’ll have to add Kasabian to the end as well just for Stig.

Also, this is meant to be about the music. Not about turning into a tory or voting for Brexit or even downloading shit off the internet.

I actually agree with that, I posted that Noel quote as a riposte to Alex James being n the same photo as David Cameron.

You're offering reasoned debate with evidence to back up your point. But versus the opportunity to make Stig cry?

No contest.

I don't see how this is even close, if we are voting on music alone, Oasis has more hits on one album than Blur did in their entire career.

Are you sure about that?

Voting on hits alone would also be a bit daft, going by that measure, Kylie is better at music than Led Zeppelin.
