The problem with this City team is missing someone like De Bruyne, who is their best player, makes absolutely no difference to their results. They have so many creative players to compensate that they barely need him. They now also have so many centre backs that anybody getting injured there also means practically nothing.

Their only real achilles heel in the squad is they only have two strikers and they have to do the false 9 thing if Aguero and Jesus are unavailable. But even then, they can get away with doing that most games.

Yeah.

The depth is insane.

They also seem to have a fear factor over a lot of teams that despite our superb form over last two years we don't quite have/it isn't as widespread.

They've also become more defensively solid now, whicg has made a difference for them, they are probably slightly less potent as a result, but they are better off on balance.

Good on them, they know it’s bullshit but it’ll carry on. As much as Chelsea and City have ruined English football I dread to think how many titles them manc cunts would be on now without them.

I see the Premier league have looked at the two ridiculous red cards this week and overturned the one that had no bearing on the result (Bednarak) and not the one that probably did have an affect the result (Luiz).

But Mike Dean not sanctioned? Previously when a ref fucked up like that, they'd be confined to the Championship for a couple of weeks. Maybe that's an indication the EFL refs are worse?!

It’s going to be very, very hard to finish above Chelsea now they have a competent manager; Tuchel isn’t great, but you don’t have to be to do well with that squad. Likely four points behind after tonight, and very probably ahead ten days from now given our next two games. Looking at their fixtures, there’s nothing challenging until they host Man Utd on the last day of the month.

It could mean they're better and won't be seen as a punishment to send EPL refs down.

Nice little news story imo for the youngsters. 17 year old Indian kid being paid a couple of bob to be an analyst for a Scottish football club. He sounds a good kid too.

Edit.. but obviously not a good news story if you happen to be the chief sports journalist for the bbc in Scotland. Talk about bursting the kids bubble.. what a killjoy.

Just had a quick look and Chief BBC sports reporter for Scotland Tom also has another three jobs yet questions the pay of a 17 year old kid. Nice.

Edit.. Seems you get a kinder press if you go the other way.
