Footy is fucked i think.

Just watched Jeff Stelling go on a bit of a rant about players celebarating coming from 3-0 down to 3-3 with a pile on.

Started shaking his head and saying it is not on - 'social distancing' etc.

Think with the govt under pressure from the scientists again today to make lockdown stricter that this coming week will see it stopped.

They’ll wait for the Mancs to go top next week before suspending it. Seriously though wonder how the fuckwits at the Premier league will deal with potential curtailed season, did they put any rules in place?

Edwards takes West Brom's 2nd penalty and it's saved

Can't wait for Charlie Adam to fucking sky his.

Blackpool 2-1 after 3 pens each

Blackpool's 4th pen hit the post, allowing West Brom a chance to equalise on 3-3. after 5 each, but Blackpool's keeper was the hero by saving the final WBA pen.

After all his mouthing off after our game, Fat Sam’s nightmare deepens. Neil Critchley doing a number on him.

Makes it all the more infuriating that we squandered 2 points.

No idea.

But can see it being a nightmare as very little wriggle room for stopping for long with International shite tournament in June (which should be cancelled in my opinion)

They should push Euro 2020 to 2022. Cancel the World Cup in Qatar and put this season on hold until April

Wouldn't surprise me. Blatent refereeing cheating to get them so high up the table.

It’s harrowing watching Andy Carroll, genuinely one of the worst footballers technically I’ve ever seen play at the top level. Still angers me that we spent 35m on him in 2011, what’s that on modern terms 125-130m? On par with Maguire in terms of extortionate.

Dortmund are about to beat Leipzig 3-1. Two more goals for Haaland and two beautiful assists for Reus.

I'll never forget when he came on against Chelsea with 3 mins left and still turned in a 3/10 performance.

Imagine had var not been used that red card would've stood. Wasn't even a yellow

And yet the cheat Marriner on VAR still couldn’t make a decision to overturn it ...I mean all it would have taken is one look instead he shifted it back to the ref

We need to sign Haaland, kids gonna be one of the best CFs to ever play the game.

I'd rather have him than Mbappe. Not that we are going to sign Mbappe anyway.

That was only a 1.5/10, but with double vision, made it look like a 3

Still very raw and rash this Upamecano, only 20 though so still loads of room for improvement just don't think he'd be allowed that time to develop with us.

Not that it matters talking about centre backs like we're in the market for one.

    • Is kelleher fit? With Alison surely going back home for his dad's funeral, we'll be needing the young whipper snapper to play in goals for the next 3 weeks. Can't be fucking doing watching Adrian anymore.
    • Rafa Benitez feels he has unfinished business at Liverpool and would love to manage the club again one day.   The 60 year-old Spaniard is currently out of work after latest club Dalian Pro in the Chinese SuperLeague in late January.   The well-travelled manager is known as someone who loves a project and Journalist and close confidant Guillem Balague has said that he would love a return to Liverpool although it is not on the cards at this time.   The Echo reported Balague as saying:   “There is a feeling of unfinished business with Rafa and Liverpool, I've always said that.   “Rafa would love to be the Liverpool manager at some point. Maybe in a time of crisis, proper crisis, not what's happening now.   “Maybe in a time where there's a need for a strong personality to steady a ship. But right now in the way that the owners are behaving and Klopp and everything, that situation doesn't exist.   "How can we think that Klopp has reached the end of an era? Look at the bigger picture, how can anyone suggest that?   "It's laughable. It's stupid and absurd to be talking about a future without Klopp."   The issue regarding who will succeed Klopp when the time comes has sprung to life during the last few weeks.   Unsubstantiated rumours a few weeks ago that the German was considering his position due to the significant drop in form by the team turned out to be just that, as it was revealed he was dealing with a personal tragedy with the passing of his mother.   There will come a time when Klopp does decide to walk away from this fantastic team that he built and while it will be a incredibly sad day, there will be no lack of suitors for the role.     The main question is would they look to bring back a manager past or look at someone with progressive Football philosophies.   Benitez unquestionably won the hearts of a lot of Liverpool fans with his ability to connect with the fanbase on and off the pitch and restoring Liverpool’s name as the pre-eminent team in Europe.   He fought the good fight against Liverpool’s rivals, never taking a backward step ruffling plenty of feathers and creating everlasting memories along the way.   His disputes with the owners at the time will go down in Anfield folklore, but his pre-occupation with what was happening off the pitch ended up affecting performances on it and his own judgement when it came to buying and selling players.   It would be harsh to say that Benitez’s best days are behind him, but would he be able to re-invent and alter his pragmatic ways, something that his old sparring partner Jose Mourinho has failed to do?   At this stage it is nothing more than a hypothetical scenario and may very well remain that way.    But like many things in Football, it presents itself as an interesting talking point.
