It is but this is  the serial rule-breaking with no repercussions Man City.

Same with Spurs and West Ham and these.

Wishy washy statements like 'club is disappointed' but no real action - these have benefited from their players breaking rules.

League need to step in now and say if players are found to break whatever rules are in place that are there to help keep league going and are part of covid regs that they get 5 match bans.

That will bring players in line.

City look like a team that has had eight days of rest. They're running rings around Chelsea. Fair play to the authorities for finding fresh new ways to give the oil cheats an unfair advantage.

Yeah. Absolutely no mention of that, though. It's brilliant City! Geez, how have they done it?!

You gotta say, this is bullshit, though. City get rewarded with a rest period because their players broke protocol and the Rodri incident was a stonewaller. Somehow they've come out smelling like roses.

Yep, it was a rest period which is helping 6 of their other players get extended time off under the guise of an infectious disease.

And Scott Parker pulling the same trick to get his own players extended rest shows how daft the Premier League is.

An absolute disgrace it is then having a mid winter break. They should be made to play their game in hand against the bitters 2 days before another game or 2 days after

That would be totally unfair on Everton, though. And so I endorse it!

Some awful Everton-like behaviour in this thread. "City being given a rest, their players being infected is a conspiracy, blah, blah, blah". Put away the tin foil hats guys.

Need I remind you theirs wasnt the first game that was postponed this season. And Fulham have also missed two games due to the same issue. Maybe, just maybe, the fact that there is a very infectious disease out there influenced the most logical decision to take.

They fact that we are not 6-8 points ahead of them after we kept drawing with shite teams is entirely down to us. So give the Everton-like behaviour a rest, eh?

The outbreak was their own fault and they had plenty of players to dress. They had like 5 cases. No conspiracy here, it's lazy by you to say people think that's what it is by the way, it's just that it's absolutely absurd that the behaviour of their players has ended up rewarding them.

But I don't get what you're on about here - are you saying they were able to take a covid hit (you know, kind of quietly let it happen) and thus get a game off, and then still win their next game because they have a big squad?

How have they ended up being rewarded

By beating a shit Chelsea?
