I'm not sure about how many penalties have been awarded but in the past 12 months in all competitions United have scored 21 penalties, Liverpool 7!

There is. And it's the fact they aren't very good. Without 12 penalties every week these cunts would be about 9th. The Premier League does not want Manchester United 9th.

Yes I think you're right about the diving. I think there's also a bias mindset with refs. They see other refs awarding 'soft' pens to united so feel they have to give them as well. The same works the opposite for Mo. Ref's think he 'dives' or 'goes down too easily' so dont give the pens for the same type of 'fouls' as they give united.

 

Bottom line is no other club in the PL is getting the soft pens united are. No one else is getting that one tonight and if it had been a Villa player in the united box, it's not being given.
