Quite a few Scottish lads I know think Tiernany is better than Robbo. 
 

Obviously, from my eyes & playing for us, Robbo has been fantastic for us & clearly the best left back I’ve ever seen for us in 30 years of regularly going. I just don’t think it’s as cut and dried as “X is better than Y”.

Again, was that a “clear and obvious” mistake? 
 

On first viewing, it looks a penalty. It probably looks a penalty from other angles in real time.

 

Slow it down though, and it looks more debatable.

 

Again, it’s the whole thing about the speed it’s reviewed. At full pace, it probably doesn’t take much to knock Tiernany off balance, and IMO, it’s not “clear and obvious” and the original decision should stand.

I agree Robbo is the better player, but, I’ve responded with why people who watch Tiernany regularly might disagree.
