Is Martin Keown a complete fucking retard? The Brighton man tackles,  knocks the ball and subsequently Trezeguet goes over the outstretched leg. It's a fair tackle and the monkey eared cunt is insisiting on a penalty.Unreal.

If a penalty like that was given against Keown, he’d be jumping up and down  heckling the referee when it’s rescinded.

Keown did also used to play for Villa.

Villa really are shithouses.

in that last 5 mins or so their players elbowed someone, aggresively grabbed player on deck by shirt and dragged him up, pushed a player in chest who was time wasting and dived really dramatically to try and win a pen.

Grealish showing us the character trait that probably caused that Birmingham City fan to give him a sly crack.

Can’t believe the ex-referee on BT didn’t think it was a clear and obvious error on the penalty.

March knocked the ball 90d in the opposition to a team mate before he caught the Villa lad.

If that was given against us, I’d be fuming.

Which position would he play in your opinion? He looks like a textbook wing back. Up and down the pitch all game, out wide.

He'd have made a great winger in the 90's heyday of 442. He's ideal as a wing back but not many of the top teams play that way and he's too small to play as a conventional right back in a four. There's potential that he could transition into a wide forward but that depends on how consistent his end product is and how he deals with a lack of space to run into. Love to see what Klopp would do with him. Bags of potential.

You'd think that's why Chelsea sold him. He looks great, but not very versatile.

There are a few “modern day full backs” who have started out further up the pitch and worked their way backwards.

Trent, Neco Williams, Wan Bissaka off the top of my head.... sure there plenty others.

It’a the way the game is going. Real quality  (not in Wan-Bissaka’s case...) on the ball, adequate at defending.

Somebody like Carra at full back, wouldn’t make the grade these days.

Time will tell. He needs to choose his next club very wisely given that he could well be a specialist wing back. Mancs will probably impulsively buy him and stick him upfront.

Lamptey is tiny though, really can't think of a top full back ever that's about 5'5.
