I love how the commentary team were talking about how Mata off the bench was a great option.

Jesus Christ, he was decent for a season about 10 years ago.

Who else have you got back there?  Podolski? Michu?

Nah mate Mata was class. He took us apart at Anfield a few years back with utd. Probably not any good now like, I’d forgot he was still there but he’s more than a one season wonder.

He's still on the right track is Ole. Klopp came runner up in the Europa after all before winning everything...he should be given a contract with however many years he wants!

Exactly. And Moreno played a big part that night too in the Spanish side’s victory. So many parallels, they’d be fools not to keep him.

Love to see a picture of Ferguson’s face when he notices Bert’s monkey with a gun tattoo while he’s manhandling the UEFA cup.

I hated him when he was in charge but that is a sad image.

The Spanish clubs have a superb finals record in this competition since we beat Alaves in 2001. Only Espanyol and Athletic Bilbao have lost in the final since then, and those defeats were to Sevilla in 2007 and Atletico Madrid in 2012 respectively.

No coach had won more than 3 of any of the available European trophies before, but Emery now has 4 in this competition.
