Yeah, I agree.

I think Conte got a bum deal at Chelsea as well.

Really? Have you seen some of the bums he signed for Chelsea?

Morata - £60m

Bakayoko - £36m

Batshuayi - £35m

Drinkwater - £34m

Zappacosta - £22m

Emerson - £18m

Barkley - £15m

And he was still moaning about wanting more players. He knows how to coach, but he’s impossible for any club to work with. Levy wouldn’t go within a country mile.

Conte is a better manager and would probably get more from the players in the short term but will probably fall out with Levy in 18 months.

Rodgers would improve them over a longer period and is less likely to upset the apple cart.

Can’t see Brendan getting along with a chairman who calls the shots transfer-wise as often as Levy seems to.

I partially agree with that.

I don’t know much about his time at Juventus but he did a great job with an average Italy side.

Conte wasn’t given a great Chelsea side but made very effective players out of Moses, Alonso & Luiz playing 3-4-3.

He was given a bit of shit deal in his 2nd season when they signed crap like Drinkwater & Bakayoko, was held on until pre-season and then sacked for Sarri.

He wanted investment to win Inter the league. He got it and he won it.

I can completely see why having to see £80m worth of players, which could potentially be a number of starters, would piss him off.

Given Levy’s prudent ways might not be to Conte’s liking, but I also think he’ll find that at every club these days.

I appreciate what your saying. Morata sticks out particularly, didn’t Conte say a lot of those signings (Drinkwater particularly) weren’t his?

Haha, just seen on the BBC "Goal - Moreno" and I got giddy thinking it couldn't be old Bert Moron could it?

Then it dawned that I was being very silly, of course it wasn't.

No, but this one puts Gerard on the back of his shirt instead so that counts for something.
