We also won numbers 5 and 6 finishing 4th. Good omens

Just reminded me about the man City fans slagging us off for winning it when we weren't champions of England. Funny how things turn out.

The key to success will be, to not let either of Burnley or Palace score first, giving them something to defend, allowing them put 10 men behind the ball like Fat Sham did with his cloggers.

This. But bottom line is tonight's result doesnt really change things, we just have to make sure we win both games and preferably rattle in a few goals. There's still permutations which could see us miss out but the aim of football is to win and win well.  That's all we have to do.

Just watching MOTD. How thick are those Manc bastards?. Causing havoc against us trying to sabotage the game twice all for "the good of football".  Breaking into OT attacking the police, smashing up their own ground, having a go at Souness, Carragher and singing non stop about Scousers.

Tonight not a peep out of them, all turn up and pay 40-50 quid which goes to the owners whilst sitting in the stands with the green and gold scarves they bought in the club shop thinking they are big rebels. Absolute fucking bellends.

Osman, as an ex Everton player, is a better, less reactionary, and soul-whored pundit than Carragher as an ex Liverpool player, not all the time trying to prove he's unbiased.

Yeah but wait til the cunt is a pundit for our games. He's just a bitter blue then.

I remember being at the Newcastle game at the end of the 2003/4 season which sealed 4th place. Having drawn in midweek and leaving themselves having to win (I think) by ten goals to overtake Liverpool, they were understandably a bit salty. "Champions League YOU'RE having a laugh!" they sang. No way Liverpool were going to make an impact in that competition for the elite of Europe, eh? Eh? EEEEHHHH?!?!?

Not to mention the planned protest chanting in the 51st minute not happening because it coincided with a free kick they had near the edge of the box.

You're playing what is essentially a dead rubber game against a relegated side and you're already a goal up and you forget all about the glazers protest to watch Fernandes boot one into the stand. Clowns.

Spurs being very Spursy. 50% chance of one of Sir Harry Kane's ankles buckling before the end of the match?

Euro’s in a few weeks? Wants to leave Spurs?  More than likely!

Ryan Mason looks like a sixth former who has won a competition to be Spurs manager for the day. Could be 1-4 down here if Villa were more clinical. The fans have gone from cheering to booing.

Thinking about it, putting a random sixth former in charge for the Leicester game might not be the worst move they could make.
