I dont care about 'we should have brought in centre halves earlier, blah, blah, fucking blah.' We were the reigning Champions and one or two too many of our players turned into billy big bollocks and thought they just had to show up to get the 3 points. Not. Fucking. Good. Enough.

In the past 30 years, 5 other teams have had a worse defence points wise. It's been shit but it's been the weirdest season injury wise and just generally in the modern era.

 FSG have done loads wrong off the field but every penny generated by the club goes back into financing the team and club/team. I want FSG to improve lots of things but I'm definitely in the better the devil you know camp. 

You are in a very small minority if you want a Chelsea/City/PSG type owner.

Totally agree, 69 points never gets you a CL place and the players we’ve had fit in the squad have not been good enough. Souness and Keane called it right when they  described our players as “weak”.  Ali, Trent, Robbo, Gini, Mo, Sadio , Bobby should be utterly embarrassed about this season.

I didn't say it didn't. And by definition an average of 71 means that a few have beeness than 69. Which was your argument. 

 

The 'club' doesn't deserve Champions League - their response to losing all 3 starting CBs (a risk they took) was to spend £3m on a loanne and a Championship player. 

 

The team deserves understanding and support for playing most of the season with a number of first team players missing.
