City would be far more likely to go for Haaland, simply because of his age and his potential, and because money doesn't matter. Taking a risk on a 29yo with a history of ankle problems is not a problem they need.

Kane, as TheDrowningMan has already said, has Utd written all over him. His 'talent' in the box, and the likelihood of the never-ending penalties as a result, means he would fit right in with the sub-aqua team they've already got. He's not always fit, as already mentioned, but they would still be most likely to be willing to pay the risk-reward premium for an English player.

Laurie McMenemy looking really well on Football Focus as they reminisce about when Southampton won the cup against Man Utd in a bygone age when the cup final was the biggest game in the calendar ..

Kind of ironic as the BBC have done as much as anyone to ruin it

Can't believe we are even arsed about a West Ham results this late in the season but fuck me Haway the Toon

Shirely, “The Moyes Effect” will kick in soon.

The play Chelsea next weekend. Vital we take 6/6 and ramp some pressure up on both of them - depending on results, we could be 4th come 3pm next Saturday.

I'm not sure it's fair to blame the BBC.  The Sky era and the televised football saturation that followed killed the FA cup. The money pumped into the league and European football made domestic cup competitions second rate .

Hinchcliffe's insights are so profound.

If West Ham score, then they'd only need one more goal to equalise.  Right, I see: what you're saying is that 1+1=2. Thanks for that, Andy.

Bit like Rob Green the other night.

Porto are all over Chelsea but you'd rather be 2 up than 2 down
