7th looks pretty likely for us.

We're currently eighth, we don't score any goals, Villa have two games in hand on us, Arsenal have one. Both are in better form.

We're lucky Leeds are losing tonight as we might just about scrape tenth.

A good point well made.

The most likely to get that 7th place is probably Everton.

Ancelotti is on record as saying he'd happily bin his three European cup winner medals for a crack at the Curly Wurly Tuna Chunks Shield.

Sadly they'd have a good shout at winning it...so fuck that.

West Ham score from a corner. Wonder how many hundred more we’ll before we even create a chance from one. It’s an old club tradition to be shit at corners, but we’re taking that to a new level as well these days.

Once Van Dijk and to a lesser extent Matip were out, it would have made more sense to just get one player to roll it out for a goal kick while the others regroup.

No doubt. We regularly get in trouble as the opponent counter after our corners. Exactly opposite of one year ago. Also agree that Van Dijk is the main difference.

Yup. 10th, we're finishing tenth, behnd the Arse if I had to guess. Although with the way they're going they may actually end up in the european spots. The only team in the below table that I'm 100% certain won't caths us is Southampton.

If you'd told me at the turn of the year that Bale would probably outscore Mane and Jesse Fucking Lingard would outscore Bobby by the end of the season I'd have laughed in your face. And yet here we are.

Bobby hasn’t been prolific for two years.

Yeah, but it's Jesse Lingard.

He can run faster than a snail has more power in his shots than a 5year old doesn't shit himself and want to pass when infront of goal.  It wasn't that hard to belive he'd out score that joke we have upfront if he was getting games as he is now

Love that Joaquin is still playing for Betis. Always think of this great quote from him back in the day when he was asked whether his dad was currently negotiating a move to another club:

"Nah, he's on the sofa at home with his arse hanging out the back of his trousers as usual."

Joachim Löw announces he is stepping down after the Euros. This will become another unwelcome distraction, Gerrard doing great, Klopp doing shite, German vacancy, this shit writes itself. We really just need to win a couple of matches.
