I'm not bashing Jurgen but I just don't think the guy likes having a big squad nor can he handle one. He likes a smaller group to work with and tends to not rotate that much. Problem is we always have a massive injury list.

 

No doubt if he had a core of quality 16-18 players who never got injured we would sweep all before us.

He really struggled in that Fa cup game against the Villa under 18s.

 

This loan to Southampton seems to have been the best idea. He looks like a different player for them.

Maybe this is part of our new strategy? Instead of letting Southampton buy players and sell them to us, we are going to buy them and then loan them to Southampton to develop them?

Agree with that. Plenty were complaining on here that he made no impact when he played.
 

He has a chance to build up momentum and play against good sides every week now so we’ll get to see if he still has potential for us.
